ER Registered Nurse (RN)Start Date: ASAP 13-week assignmentSchedule:NO BLOCKED SCHEDULING3 shifts per week, 12 hours each36 guaranteed hours per weekEvery other weekend requiredExperience Requirements:Minimum 1.5 years of experience2 years of recent ER experience requiredClinical Skills Required:Interpret and manage heart rhythm changes (dysrhythmias)Care for critically ill patients with multi-organ issuesAdminister blood productsManage central linesStart and maintain IVsAdminister IV sedation and vasopressorsCare for stroke (CVA) patientsCare for ventilated patientsManage BiPAP/CPAPInterpret arterial blood gases (ABGs)Follow isolation precautionsPerform triageLicensure & Certifications:Active state nursing license required (NY or compact)If no NY license, must have already applied and provide application dateRequired certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALSTime-Off Policy:All requested time off must be submitted with applicationNo time off will be approved after offerTraveler must arrange coverage for any additional shifts if neededAdditional Requirements:No disciplinary issues ("hits") on nursing licenseInterview is phone or virtualPlease note if your traveler lives within 50 miles of facility, the bill rate is $15 less than the travel rate.
