Senior Analyst, Investment Accounting

Base pay range $110,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr Position Overview: This role serves as a critical link between investment operations and accounting, ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis of investment activities. The individual will also contribute to cross-functional initiatives aimed at enhancing processes and achieving consistent, timely delivery of investment results across various reporting bases. Key Responsibilities: Prepare reconciliations related to investment activity for both US GAAP and statutory reporting. Assist the Investment Accounting team in clearing and reconciling transactions across multiple financial subledgers. Collaborate with third-party service providers and internal finance stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate recording of investment transactions in the general ledger. Monitor and substantiate investment-related suspense accounts on a monthly basis. Provide support for audit-related requests. Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred. Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in Investment Accounting or Investment Operations, with a strong background in reconciliation and general ledger processes. Solid understanding of investment accounting principles under US GAAP and statutory frameworks. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Hyperion tools (FCC, Essbase), PeopleSoft, and data analysis platforms is a plus. Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and automation. Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Experience with Clearwater Analytics or similar investment accounting systems is preferred.
