Electrical Superintendent Traylor Bros, Inc Relocation to a project site in the US is required. Key Tasks and Responsibilities Studies specifications to plan procedures for construction based on start and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase of construction. Procurement of tools and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, safety training and orientation of new employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Confers with and directs supervisory personnel and subcontractors engaged in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating construction phases to prevent delays. Confers with supervisory personnel and labor representatives to resolve complaints and grievances within the workforce. Confers with supervisory and engineering personnel, inspectors, and suppliers of tools and materials to resolve construction problems and improve construction methods. Inspects work in progress to ensure workmanship conforms to specifications and adheres to construction schedules. Prepares or reviews reports on progress, materials used, and costs, and adjusts work schedules as indicated by reports. Manages Foremen who supervise craft field employees, responsible for overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the group; may also directly supervise non‑supervisory employees. Assumes additional responsibilities as directed by division and corporate management. Travels as required to attend meetings, site visits, training, etc., and is able to relocate as needed. Skills and Abilities Ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking and writing so others will understand. Education / Experience Bachelor’s Degree in construction or engineering‑related field preferred, or a combination of education and/or 7‑10 years construction supervision work experience.
