The Freeman Center for Anxiety, Recovery & Trauma is seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to become an integral part of our dedicated team. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, employing therapeutic techniques appropriate for each client's needs. \n
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans based on thorough assessments of each client’s mental health status, history, and goals. \n
- Utilize evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address and treat various mental health issues. \n
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and session notes in accordance with state regulations and best practices. \n
- Participate in regular peer consultations and team meetings to discuss client progress, share insights, and refine treatment approaches. \n
At the Freeman Center, you will engage with a wide array of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Our focus is on providing trauma-informed care that recognizes the unique challenges each client faces. Qualifications\n- \n
- Education: A Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field is required. \n
- Licensure: Active State Licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) is mandatory. \n
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience working with children and families in a therapeutic setting, particularly in community mental health. \n
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and time-management abilities are required. \n

- Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored for anxiety and trauma disorders. \n
