Setting: travel PT in a hospital setting with an outpatient focus and occasional inpatient coverage

Responsibilities
- Plan and administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments for patients with injuries or muscle, nerve, joint, and bone conditions to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability
- Deliver mostly outpatient services within a hospital service line, with occasional inpatient coverage as needed
- Provide care across orthopedic and neuro rehab pathways, integrating IP and OP experiences to support patient outcomes
- Document assessments, plan of care, progress notes, and discharge summaries in an electronic medical records system; EPIC experience is preferred
- Monitor patient response to therapy, adjust treatment plans, and educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care, ensure compliance with evidence-based practice, and support timely discharge

Requirements
- Montana Physical Therapist license (active or in hand) required or eligible to practice in MT
- Minimum 2 years of electronic medical records experience; EPIC experience preferred
- Background in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation; experience across inpatient and outpatient settings
- Ability to work in a hospital-based PT setting with primarily outpatient services and occasional inpatient coverage
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with care teams
- Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment starting 08/24/2026
