Counter Sales Associate

Job Summary

The Counter Sales Associate will oversee daily customer sales in a fast-paced fuel and lubricants distribution environment.

Duties/Responsibilities - Fuel Sales Associate

• Creating accurate sales orders, invoices and process customer transactions
• Assisting customers on-site and via phone with product selection, purchases and loading of products
• Proof daily paperwork to ensure accuracy before updating that includes date, customer, ship to, product, quantity, pricing, taxes
• Process and distribute all on-site invoices to customers.
• Daily fuel and oil reconciliation
• Maintain cleanliness, organization and stocking of the sales floor and counter areas
• Develop and maintain knowledge of company products, services and operational procedures
• Support team members and be available to assist with warehouse functions such as receiving, inventory counts and organization

Minimum Qualifications

• Flexibility to be a team player and participate in efforts that are needed to benefit the company and accomplish unscheduled necessary projects and tasks
• Ability to adhere to company standards of professionalism
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with multiple departments in order to service customer needs
• High school diploma/GED preferred

Required Skills/Abilities

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to follow company procedures and standards
• Familiarity with billing procedures including billing software
• Basic computer skills; Microsoft Office knowledge: Outlook, Word, Excel
• High school diploma/GED preferred
• Must be dependable, available to work some Saturdays, and maintain reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass a federal background check and pre-employment drug screening

• Ability to lift, move and load products up to 50lbs
