Sales & Service Representative

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales & Service Representative to support the growth and maintenance of our clients water-based systems business. This role is responsible for developing new customer relationships, managing existing accounts, and providing technical sales support and service solutions for industrial and commercial sprinkler systems. The ideal candidate combines strong sales skills with a service-oriented mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities: Sales & Business Development

• Develop and maintain relationships with industrial, commercial, and municipal customers.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories.
• Generate and manage a sales pipeline to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
• Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and service agreements.
• Conduct site visits to assess customer needs and make sprinkler fire protection suggestions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project implementation and customer satisfaction.

Customer Service & Technical Support

• Provide ongoing account management and support for existing customers.
• Perform routine system inspections and service visits.
• Assist customers with troubleshooting and resolving system/design performance issues.
• Monitor water based systems/sprinkler systems and recommend adjustments to optimize system efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain detailed service reports, customer records, and sales activity documentation.

Relationship Management

• Serve as a trusted advisor to customers by providing technical expertise and value-added recommendations.
• Build long-term partnerships through responsive service and proactive communication.
• Coordinate with operations, engineering, and service teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications Required

• 2+ years of experience in outside sales, service sales, account management in sprinkler/water based systems.
• Strong customer relationship and business development skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout assigned territory.

Preferred

• Experience with sprinkler systems
• Previous sprinkler designer or technician
• Experience working in industrial manufacturing, healthcare, commercial facilities, food processing, or institutional markets.
