Quality Assurance AuditorNational Airlines, based in Orlando, FL, operates passenger charter service as well as customized military and commercial air cargo carriages worldwide. National Airlines specializes in over-sized, time sensitive, and special handling requirements, utilizing 777, 747-400 and A-330 aircraft to accomplish its missions.Location: Orlando, FLDepartment: Quality AssuranceReports To: SR Manager of QualityFLSA Status: ExemptEssential Functions:Participates in the Company's Safety Management System (SMS) in accordance with the responsibilities detailed in the Safety Management System ManualPerforms Internal auditing and evaluations.Performs auditing of External essential maintenance providers – fuel service providersAccomplishes data research across all FAA publications (8900's, DCT, Advisory Circulars, Regulations, etc.)Performs Risk Analysis and Risk Control DevelopmentAccomplishes Root Cause Analysis.Responsible for updating computer databases with audit results.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications, Experience & Skills:Exhibit the highest ethical standards of conduct in the workplace.Must be able to read, write, and understand the English language.Must hold valid FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe & Powerplant ratings.Must possess a valid passport and the ability to work abroad.3-5 years of Aviation maintenance, inspection, or records experience.Must possess a working knowledge and understanding of Federal Aviation Regulations (14 CFR's)Must pass a 10-year background check.Preferred Experience:IATA (IOSA) Trained747 and/or A330 specific experienceExperience with Safety Management Systems (SMS)?Experience with Reliability ProgramsTechnical Training (Training Instructor)Web based audit application tools and software.Previous Auditor experienceSupervisory Responsibility: NoTravel Requirements: Approx. 40% domestically & internationallyThe duties listed above are intended only as illustrations of various types of work that may be performed.
