Job Description:

The caseload for this opportunity is located at one site, primarily pre-k through 12, but dependent on assignment. If you love working with kids and making an impact in the community, this could be the perfect role for you.

Overview:

Setting: in-person, school
Schedule: M - F
$85/hour+ for qualified PTs
Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough assessments of students' medical histories and physical conditions to develop an understanding of their needs and limitations
Develop individualized treatment plans based on the assessment findings, taking into account the patient's goals, lifestyle, and any existing medical conditions
Administer physical therapy interventions, which may include exercises, manual therapy, therapeutic modalities (e.g., heat or cold therapy), and assistive devices
Attend school meetings and IEPs
Adhere to ethical standards and professional guidelines outlined by relevant healthcare regulatory bodies

Qualifications:

CA state PT license
Current CPR/BLS certification
Pediatric PT Experience
Current two-step PPD
State and contract-specific compliance requirements
