Job Description

Job Summary:
The CT TECH provides specialized imaging services using CT equipment to support patient diagnosis and treatment. The role requires technical proficiency, adherence to safety standards, and flexibility to meet departmental needs.

Responsibilities:

• Operate advanced CT imaging machinery to produce diagnostic images.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Follow established protocols and safety guidelines, including medication administration (BCMA).
• Maintain accurate documentation within the Cerner charting system.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Adhere to shift schedules, holiday requirements, and on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active ARRT (CT) certification and an MRTBE (AZ license preferred).
• Possess a current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Have at least 2 years of CT imaging experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Be willing to work night shifts, weekends, and on-call up to 3 days per month.
• Be comfortable floating within the department and to other facilities when needed.
