Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients presenting with functional limitations and disabilities, establishing effective treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Utilize your deep understanding of state practice acts, ensuring compliance with laws governing physical therapy practices and patient supervision.
• Implement evidence-based treatment protocols based on evaluation outcomes, continuously adapting care strategies in response to patients' evolving conditions.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare professionals, ensuring comprehensive patient care that may involve modifications of the care plan when necessary.
• Document patient progress meticulously, producing clear reports that detail the course of care, treatment goals, and discharge planning to facilitate seamless transitions.
• Participate in ongoing training and education sessions to maintain compliance with corporate, clinical, and regulatory standards.
• Provide daily patient treatments, ensuring high-quality care while optimizing departmental productivity and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work closely with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, those managing chronic conditions, and others facing mobility challenges. Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited educational program.
• Current and valid state licensure for practicing physical therapy in Florida.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with patients quickly.
• Strong comprehension of rehabilitation principles and treatment modalities.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a practicing physical therapist, with a preference for experience in a rehabilitation setting.
• Proven ability to use technology in rehabilitation practices, including familiarity with digital solutions or applications related to physical therapy.
• Current CPR certification.

Compensation and Benefits
