Planet Aid collects and recycles used textiles to protect the environment and support sustainable development in communities around the world.This role focuses on warehouse operations, supporting the efficient handling, processing, and movement of donated materials. You'll play a key part in ensuring materials are sorted, processed, and prepared safely and effectively.Warehouse / Material Handler DutiesLoad and unload materials from trucks, pallets, and binsSort donated items into appropriate categories for processingAssist with scanning and tracking materials in the systemOperate and support baling equipment for material processingSafely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (as needed)Maintain equipment and ensure proper storage after useKeep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe for daily operationsSupport team members and production needs as requiredSchedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Saturdays as needed)Pay: $18/hrBenefits: Health, vision, dental, life, AD&D, and 401kTime Off: Paid vacation, sick leave, and 9 holidaysRequirementsAt least 1 year of warehouse or material handling experienceAbility to safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts (preferred)Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shiftAbility to follow written and verbal instructions and safety guidelinesStrong teamwork, reliability, and attention to detailAbility to multitask and support production as neededPlanet Aid's mission is to inform, mobilize, and inspire individuals and communities to work together to bring about worldwide environmental and social progress.
