Clinical Pharmacist

Role Overview Seeking a licensed pharmacist to provide comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services in a community hospital setting. The role involves practicing at the top of license using Medication Therapy Services (MTS) protocols to support clinical interventions and medication optimization. The pharmacist will supervise workflow, oversee technicians and support staff, and serve as a medication therapy resource, ensuring safe and effective medication use. Key Responsibilities Manage daily pharmacy operations, including supervision of personnel and adherence to regulations. Participate in departmental meetings and hospital committees as appropriate. Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness, considering patient condition and therapies. Provide drug information, staff training, and support transitions of care. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and safety within medication processes. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy; Doctorate preferred. At least 2 years of pharmacy experience; supervisory experience is a plus. Licensed Pharmacist with Medication Therapy Services certification in MO. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills. Additional Details PRN position with weekend and weekday shifts available.
