Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions, extreme heat and cold, moving mechanical parts and vibration, and the noise level in the work environment can be loud. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body; be able to reach overhead; be able to work in various positions, including stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time; be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks; and be able to frequently lift 50 pounds throughout the assigned workday.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This position is full-time, forty hours per week. Nights and weekend work are required; although, some out of the area travel and overnight may be expected for conferences. Travel Travel is primarily local. Required Education and Experience
- Ensures all operational and safety procedures are properly followed, maintaining a clean and safe work area.
- Cleans comfort stations, emptying of trash receptacles, replenishes restroom supplies, cleans restrooms including walls, mirrors, and removing graffiti when required. Picks up loose litter on-site.
- Performs maintenance of grounds that may include landscaping, cutting, trimming, edging, planting and maintaining bedding areas, watering, weeding, and removing grass clippings and tree trimmings.
- Cleans and repairs tables, benches, and arbors as required, painting and cement patch as needed.
- Assists public with use of facilities, giving directions as required, and answering questions as needed.
- Performs weekly inventory and coordinates with the Project Manager for purchasing supplies.
- Motivates staff to perform at the highest levels and attains incentive standards which are offered by contractor.
- Coordinates projects with manager, and oversees said project to completion.

- High school diploma or GED.
- One (1) year experience in facilities and / or grounds maintenance.
- One (1) year experience in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of lawn maintenance equipment.
- Knowledge of custodial procedures.
- Technical / Vocational training in construction trades or grounds maintenance.
- Supervision of individuals with disabilities.
- Herbicide certification.
- Drug Screen.
- WSC background check.
- Contractor background check.
