Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) - Inpatient Rehabilitation Travel Assignment in Dallas, TX

• Location: Dallas, TX 75237
• Healthcare Setting: Inpatient rehabilitation / long-term care support
• Employment Type: Travel nursing assignment
• Schedule: Day shift, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
• Shift Duration: 12-hour days
• Hours Per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,010 - $1,060
• Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:7
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Job Requirements

• Current LPN/LVN licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• At least 2 years of nursing experience preferred in rehabilitation nursing or med-surg environments
• Associate degree or bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Warm, welcoming bedside manner with a patient-centered approach
• Comfort working with electronic health records (EHR) and common clinical equipment

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to rehabilitation patients recovering from stroke, trauma, neurological conditions, amputation, orthopedic injury, and major surgery
• Monitor patient status, document care, and communicate changes promptly to the interdisciplinary care team
• Administer medications and support daily treatment plans according to established protocols
• Assist with IV pumps, EKG monitoring, bariatric equipment, and medication dispensing systems as needed
• Support a safe, therapeutic, and encouraging environment for patients throughout recovery
• Collaborate with nursing and rehabilitation staff to promote progress toward individualized rehabilitation goals
• Deliver compassionate care while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail
