Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU position requiring 2 years of PICU experience and OH or compact RN licensure.

Details

Work in the Pediatric ICU (PICU) of a children's hospital
Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:00
Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2
Floating required, including to CVPICU and potentially the Liberty campus
Every-other-weekend (EOW) work required
Blocked scheduling accommodated for weekends only if willing to work all weekends

Requirements

Active RN license (OH state or Compact)
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of PICU experience with exposure to CICU required
Supervisor reference within the past 2 years required
Epic charting experience preferred

Additional Information

Provide critical care nursing to pediatric patients in a high-acuity ICU setting
First-time travelers considered, provided they meet the 2-year specialty experience requirement
Full vaccination required with no exceptions
Minimum of 2 holidays worked per contract
RTO requests must be submitted at time of application and cannot exceed 5 days
Previous CCHMC employees ineligible to apply for 1 year from their termination date
Candidates within 50 miles of the facility will be considered local
Additional background check and fingerprinting required onsite on first day of assignment
