Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon - Join Our Expanding, High-Performing Team

We are thrilled to invite a Board Certified/Board Eligible Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to become part of our growing team at our Level III Trauma Center. This unique opportunity allows you to join a rapidly developing orthopedic practice where your skills, innovative approach, and dedication to trauma care will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our program.

We seek a surgeon with robust training in orthopedic traumatology or adult reconstruction/total joints who excels in a dynamic, collaborative setting. You will handle complex cases, benefit from extensive system-wide support, and have the autonomy and resources necessary for success.

Position Highlights

• Level III Trauma Center
• 100% inpatient role | Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
• Shared evening and weekend call (1:8)
• Postoperative clinic support provided
• Dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support
• Allocated trauma operating room block time
• Robust system infrastructure with highly collaborative multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Fellowship training in Orthopedic Traumatology or Adult Reconstruction/Total Joint Arthroplasty
• ABOS Board Certified or Board Eligible status required
• Ability to secure medical licenses in Iowa and Illinois
• Strong clinical and surgical skills with a commitment to quality and evidence-based practices
• Excellent communication abilities and a team-oriented mindset
• Open to both recent graduates and seasoned orthopedic surgeons

Compensation & Benefits

• Two-year guaranteed salary of $730,000, plus production incentives
• Transition to a straight production model starting in year three
• Earning potential exceeding $1 million
