Radius is a multidisciplinary team of radiologists, scientists, analysts, and program staff working together to improve research and patient care. The Radius Research Image Analyst (Research Analyst I or Research Analyst II) will support clinicians and researchers by performing advanced post-processing of CT and MR data, including image segmentation, 3D model development, 3D printing, 4D flow, tumor response assessment, and cardiac, kidney, and liver analysis. ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS: This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location. May require some work during evening hours and weekends, as needed per department and supervisor. The title is determined by the experience and qualifications of the finalist. Candidates who demonstrate the following knowledge, skills, and abilities will be given first consideration; the ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities, high attention to detail, and problem-solving capabilities; Effective communication and the ability to work well within a team are essential; Additionally, a passion for human anatomy and a high interest in continuous learning, in particular basic engineering and medical concepts, are critical for success in this role. Key Job Responsibilities: Prepares reports and manuscripts and assists with the development and presentation of materials through various communication platforms Maintains organization of research records and responds to data requests and inquiries Serves as an initial point of contact for individuals and groups providing basic information about result analysis and methodologies, answers questions as needed Analyzes data and summarizes research results for a defined research area or study by utilizing established processes Department: School of Medicine and Public Health, Department of Radiology, Radius Medical Imaging, Modeling Division. Compensation: The starting salary for hire into the Research Analyst I title is $63,000 and the starting salary for hire into the Research Analyst II title is $68,000. Actual pay is determined at hire and is based on experience and qualifications. Experience in analyzing and interpreting complex data sets. Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in advanced image analysis techniques and/or familiarity with medical imaging software OR proficiency using computer-aided design (CAD) modeling software. Experience in a 3D lab or similar environment. Experience working within a healthcare and/or academic environment. Education: Bachelor’s Degree Preferred minimum for Research Analyst I title.
