Data Engineer
Concentra is seeking a Data Engineer with strong hands-on experience in building scalable data pipelines and working with healthcare/clinical datasets. The ideal candidate will have experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), ETL development, and structuring data lakes/schemas. This role requires initiative, problem-solving ability, and flexibility to contribute across data architecture, cleaning, and integration tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and integration workflows using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Work with healthcare/clinical datasets ensuring compliance with HIPAA, EHR systems, and industry standards.
- Structure and optimize data lakes, data warehouses, and schemas for analytics and reporting.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to support diverse data needs.
- Perform data cleaning, transformation, and migration to support analytics and application integration.
- Troubleshoot pipeline failures, monitor performance, and implement process improvements.
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and data governance across all workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–6 years of professional Data Engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and building ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Experience with healthcare/clinical data (HIPAA compliance, EHR systems).
- Proven ability to structure data lakes/schemas and optimize for performance.
- Solid SQL development and data modeling experience.
- Ability to handle multiple roles including data architecture, cleaning, and integration.
- Strong initiative, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Must be willing and able to attend onsite interviews and work in a hybrid model.
