A fast-growing, private equity-backed holding company is seeking its first Controller to build and lead the finance function for a multi-entity portfolio of residential home services businesses.

With three operating companies already in place (~$70M revenue) and an active acquisition strategy, this is a unique opportunity to join at the ground floor and help scale a business targeting $200M+ in revenue over the next several years.

Ideal Background

CPA required
10+ years of accounting/finance experience
Controller or Assistant Controller experience in a multi-entity environment
Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, consolidations, and acquisition accounting
Experience with ERP implementation (NetSuite, Intacct, or similar)
Home services, construction, private equity-backed, or holding company experience preferred
Big 4 or national public accounting background is a plus

Compensation

Base Salary: $175,000-$225,000
Discretionary Bonus
Equity Participation

Location

Stamford, CT (expected 4-5 days in office)
Travel to operating companies as needed
