TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Neuro RN in Wilmington, North Carolina, 28401!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical - Neuro Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: NC or Compact license pending acceptable for submission Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS preferred Must-Have: - 2 years of neuro experience required - First-time travelers accepted - Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty Description: This is a Neuro unit. The shift is 12 hours from 18:45 - 07:15. 36 or 48 hours accepted. Float required. Every other weekend required. Must be able to work holidays. Patient ratio on the unit is 1:6. Contract staff will be assigned to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during catastrophic events, mass casualties, or disasters. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid-contract may occur, and contract staff may be pre-assigned to units as needed. Unit systems used include Pyxis, EPIC, and SBAR. Candidates must be open to floating within or near the facility as per job description. RTO must be pre-approved, with no requests for additional RTO allowed after signing. Must work 2 of 3 major holidays. All candidates must complete pre-start modules before starting their role. Modules for acute care are approximately 8-10 hours, while those for non-acute care are around 4-5 hours. Modules must be conducted online using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge as the browser.
