Responsibilities HazTek is seeking an experienced Safety Specialist near Clay, NY to oversee safety operations on our commercial construction projects. This role is critical in ensuring OSHA compliance, implementing best safety practices, and fostering a culture where every worker goes home safe. Oversee all aspects of a commercial construction project ensuring OSHA compliance Conduct daily safety meetings Complete accident reports and conduct accident investigations Daily safety audits and inspections Oversee all subcontractors and contractors Oversee Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation Qualifications Minimum 5 years direct construction safety experience required Active OSHA 30 in Construction and OSHA 510 required OSHA 500 is a plus Degree in a safety related field is a plus Advanced knowledge of construction safety standards Excellent written and verbal communication skills required Proficient Microsoft Office skills Embody HazTek's Core Values of Integrity, Compassion, Dependability, Leadership, Accountability Overview HazTek Safety Management is a full-service, objective safety partner, founded in 1997.
