Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and comprehensive evaluations of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through the careful interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory results
• Work in tandem with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment plans for patients
• Provide intraoperative assistance, which includes preparing the operating room, positioning patients correctly, and passing surgical instruments during procedures
• Deliver outstanding care pre- and post-operatively, involving medication delivery, wound management, discharge planning, and educational support for patients

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of surgical-focused clinical rotations is highly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification essential
• State licensure (or eligibility) required for practice as a Physician Assistant
