Job Title: Network/Data Engineer

Location : Redmond, Washington

Job Type: Contract

Duration: 10 Months

Job Description:

Ability to thrive on a highly technical team in a 7x24x365 NOC environment including nights, weekends as required
Strong communications skills (verbal, written)
Strong Troubleshooting skills
Prior experience working with (troubleshoot, diagnose/repair) internal/external transport providers.
Familiar with reporting issues to various LEC via Ticketing systems and/or phone calls and follow up calls
Experience in supporting routed networks including hardware, software, protocols, provisioning and basic troubleshooting
Familiar with Hardware and Fiber transport systems, SFPs, Knowledge of Telco Transport systems such as DWDM
Familiar with Routing Protocols such as OSPF, BGP, IS-IS
Familiar with Juniper and Core Networks
Ability to use various enterprise tools for day to day operations (AOTS-M, CM, etc.)
Knowledge of Engineering systems such as TIRKS, Worddoc, Granite
Previous Mobility RAN transport experience is a plus
CCNA or CompTIA Network+ preferred.
