Job Summary and Qualifications

Directs and coordinates activities of workers engaged in performing chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Oversees performance of tests in fields of microbiology, chemistry, histology, hematology, immunohematology and serology.

What qualifications you will need:

• Medical Lab Technician - State, or Medical Laboratory Scientist
• Minimum of 5 years as a technologist. Previous laboratory supervisory experience preferred.
• Technologist Certification as defined by GDHR.

Doctors Hospital of Augusta, part of HCA Healthcare, is a 350-bed hospital that provides a wide range of medical services. It is known for its 24/7 emergency care, Level II Trauma Center, Burn Center, advanced heart care, and Baby-Friendly maternity services.
