Location: Plymouth, MI
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $27.00–$30.00 per hour
Position Summary
Taurus Logistics is seeking a dependable and experienced Flatbed CDL A Truck Driver to join our team in Plymouth, Michigan.
The ideal candidate will have a strong safety record, excellent driving skills, and the ability to safely transport loads while following all applicable DOT and company requirements. Flatbed trucking experience is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL A commercial vehicles and transport loads to designated locations.
- Secure and inspect cargo according to company and safety requirements.
- Load and unload freight safely and efficiently.
- Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate logs and required transportation documentation.
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members.
- Maintain a professional attitude and provide reliable customer service.
- Report vehicle maintenance or safety issues promptly.
- Perform other driving and transportation duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license required.
- Minimum 2 years of CDL A truck driving experience required.
- Clean and safe driving record.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
- Ability to safely handle and secure loads.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous flatbed trucking experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with load securement and tarping.
- Experience transporting oversized, construction, or industrial materials.
- Familiarity with local and regional delivery routes.
Compensation & Benefits
- $27.00–$30.00 per hour , based on experience
