Flatbed CDL A Truck Driver

Taurus Logistics
Location: Plymouth, MI
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $27.00–$30.00 per hour

Position Summary

Taurus Logistics is seeking a dependable and experienced Flatbed CDL A Truck Driver to join our team in Plymouth, Michigan.

The ideal candidate will have a strong safety record, excellent driving skills, and the ability to safely transport loads while following all applicable DOT and company requirements. Flatbed trucking experience is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate CDL A commercial vehicles and transport loads to designated locations.
Secure and inspect cargo according to company and safety requirements.
Load and unload freight safely and efficiently.
Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Maintain accurate logs and required transportation documentation.
Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and other team members.
Maintain a professional attitude and provide reliable customer service.
Report vehicle maintenance or safety issues promptly.
Perform other driving and transportation duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Valid CDL Class A license required.
Minimum 2 years of CDL A truck driving experience required.
Clean and safe driving record.
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
Ability to safely handle and secure loads.
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous flatbed trucking experience strongly preferred.
Experience with load securement and tarping.
Experience transporting oversized, construction, or industrial materials.
Familiarity with local and regional delivery routes.

Compensation & Benefits

$27.00–$30.00 per hour , based on experience
