About the role As our Endpoint Agent Engineering Intern, you’ll work directly with our Founding Engineers to build and refine the software that lives at the core of our infrastructure. This role is ideal for an early to mid-stage student who is interested in the bridge between Systems Administration and Core Engineering. Core Qualifications Currently pursuing a BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. A strong foundational understanding of Windows and macOS environments, including how services, daemon processes, and file systems operate. Proficiency in scripting languages used for system-level tasks, such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python. Familiarity with modern System Administration principles (e.g., registry management, MDM profiles, or policy enforcement). Startup-ready: comfortable with ambiguity, fast iteration, and building without a safety net. Collaborative: you thrive in cross-functional teams and enjoy learning new skills. Preferred Qualifications Advanced Windows Admin: Deep experience with Windows-specific tooling (eg: .NET framework, WMI, or Active Directory). Lab/Environment Management: Experience as a lab manager or in a similar capacity where you managed multiple machines, deployments, or "missions" in a live environment. ActionScript/Tooling: Experience with endpoint management platforms. Security Mindset: An interest in endpoint security (EDR), performance monitoring.
