Why You’ll Love This Job Competitive pay with weekly paychecks Opportunities for overtime and long-term career advancement Supportive, team-driven, safety-first work culture Hands-on experience with modern sanitation vehicles The chance to make a real, daily impact in the community What You’ll Do Safely operate commercial sanitation vehicles (garbage trucks, roll-off trucks, and similar equipment) Collect and transport waste, recyclables, and other materials along designated routes Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in safe working condition Secure and handle loads properly to ensure safe transport and disposal Follow all DOT regulations, OSHA standards, and company safety procedures Maintain accurate records of routes, loads, and deliveries Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and teammates to keep operations running smoothly Assist with general labor tasks when needed and help maintain a clean, safe work environment QualificationsWhat You Bring Valid CDL Class A or B license with a clean driving record Experience operating heavy commercial vehicles (waste industry experience a plus) Strong safety mindset and attention to detail Dependability, punctuality, and a solid work ethic Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive movements Work Environment Outdoor, fast-paced setting with exposure to weather, traffic, noise, and heavy equipment Highly collaborative team environment requiring consistent communication and adherence to safety rules Schedule Typically Monday–Friday Occasional weekend work based on operational needs #J-18808-Ljbffr Augment
