Now Hiring Skilled Construction Workers - Star, NC

$18 - $20 per hour

Position Description

State Utility Contractors, Inc., a 100 percent employee-owned leader in water and wastewater utility construction, is now hiring for a new multi-million dollar Wastewater Treatment Plant project in Star, NC, located approximately 30 minutes from Albemarle, NC. We are looking for career-minded individuals to join a company where they can grow, excel, and build a long-term future.

We are currently hiring for the following positions:

Skilled Laborers
Concrete Finishers
Form Carpenters
Pipe Layers
Equipment Operators

All candidates must be able to meet the following requirements:

Construction experience preferred
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times
Willingness to work nights and weekends when required
Willingness to work overtime when required
Ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions, including heat and cold
Ability to routinely lift and move 10 to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 100 pounds
Strictly adhere to company safety requirements and procedures
Have the willingness to work in a team environment

Pay will be competitive and based on experience, with entry-level positions starting at $18 to $20 per hour.
