Job Summary
Operating Room (OR) RN position in a short-term acute care facility located in the Portland region. This role involves providing specialized surgical nursing care across multiple units, including orthopedic, spine, general, and gynecology. The position requires float capability to different units based on patient and operational needs, with some on-call responsibilities and weekend coverage.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid Oregon RN license with a compact license in hand at submission, at least 1 year of experience in operating room nursing, ACLS and BLS certifications, and experience circulating or scrubbing in orthopedic, spine, and general surgery.
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Level I or II experience, community hospital background, and experience with electronic charting systems such as Epic.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required to meet unit needs.
• Additional Information:
  • Candidates must have scrub and circulating RN experience in all surgical specialties offered, particularly orthopedic and spine procedures, including total joints, arthroscopic surgery, and spine fusions.
  • Must be flexible to work 3 of the 5 major holidays and available for on-call coverage every other week from 2000 to 0700.
  • Proper attire includes the scrub color of the agency-approved all-color or unit-specific attire.
  • Must include responses to previous work at Providence facilities and references covering the last three years during the compliance process.
  • Candidates should be able to float to sister facilities within the local radius and must adhere to the assigned schedule, including specific on-call and weekend duties.
