At the dental practice of James B. Haggerty, D.D.S., we pride ourselves on providing exceptional dental care in a friendly, professional, and patient-focused environment. Our team is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of infection control and patient safety while delivering personalized treatment plans that cater to each individual’s needs. Located in Toledo, OH, our office fosters a supportive atmosphere where team members collaborate and thrive.
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to complement our outstanding staff. This part-time, temporary position offers the opportunity to work primarily on Fridays with potential for additional days as a substitute. - Infection Control License
- Licensed dental hygienist
Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license required.

Job Description
Provide thorough dental hygiene care for patients, including adults and children under 16, following scheduled appointment times (1 hour for adults, 45 minutes for younger patients).
Perform oral prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and other preventive dental procedures.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
Maintain strict infection control protocols to ensure patient and staff safety.
Document patient records accurately and update treatment plans as necessary.
Collaborate effectively with dentists and support staff to ensure smooth office operations and excellent patient experiences.
Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with best practices in dental hygiene.

Monday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday: Closed
Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday/Sunday: Closed
Hours: 8 – 24 hours per week
Schedule: Primarily Fridays (permanent opportunity), with availability for substitute work on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
