CDL B - Local - Truck Driver

Richards Building Supply Co. is currently searching for a CDL Class B Driver for our Columbus, OH location. We require either a CDL Class B or Class A license with an Air Brake endorsement, and at least 1 year of Class B delivery experience (or 2 years Class A). The driver is responsible for safely delivering products, unloading material upon customer request, receiving goods in the warehouse, loading trucks, and processing inventory. Responsibilities Deliver products to job sites safely and on schedule. Unload and load material as required. Process inventory and receive materials in the warehouse. Secure and distribute loads in compliance with DOT regulations. Qualifications CDL Class B with Air Brake endorsement or CDL Class A license. 1 year CDL Class B driving experience or 2 years CDL Class A. Clean driving record, current DOT medical card, background check, and DOT drug screening. Ability to drive a manual transmission. Heavy lifting capability: must continuously lift 50‑100 lbs. of material; lifting over 100 lbs. will be required. Experience operating forklifts, box trucks, crane or knuckleboom (desired). Flatbed/Moffett experience preferred. Minimum age 23 years. Fluency with DOT regulations for load securing.
