Research Project Coordinator (Remote) - Olin Business

Position Summary Manages day-to-day activities of research study. Scheduled Hours 40 hours per week. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Obtain and manipulate data from various sources. Construct and analyze data using statistical software packages. Assist with the production of working papers and publications. Working Conditions Normal work environment; typically seated at a desk or table; office equipment available. Education Required: Bachelor’s degree (or combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum education). Certifications No specific certification or professional license is required. Work Experience Relevant experience of at least 2 years. More About This Job We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to work as a full‑time research professional for a period of one year starting July 2026 (a later start date is possible). This position is ideal for those who plan to apply for a Ph.D. in finance, economics or related fields. It offers an opportunity to gain exposure to and training in all stages of the research process. You will work on research projects related to labor and finance, and entrepreneurship and will be supervised by University of Illinois Urbana‑Champaign Professor Spyros Lagaras and Washington University in St. Louis Professor Margarita Tsoutsoura.
