SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST (SLP)

Position Summary Provide speech and language services to students across a cluster of charter school campuses in the High Desert region, including assessment, direct therapy, and consultation, in compliance with state special education regulations. Key Responsibilities Conduct speech, language, articulation, fluency, and voice assessments to determine eligibility for special education services Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals Provide individual and group therapy sessions per IEP-mandated frequency and duration Participate in IEP meetings; write assessment reports and present findings to families and staff Consult with teachers and paraprofessionals on classroom communication strategies and accommodations Support AAC (augmentative and alternative communication) device implementation and training as needed Maintain compliance with assessment timelines and triennial review deadlines Collaborate with school psychologists, ABA providers, and other related service staff serving shared students across sites Required Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid California SLP license and/or Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Valid California Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential (or eligibility) Experience conducting special education assessments and writing legally defensible reports Strong working knowledge of IDEA and California special education code Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between campuses within the High Desert cluster Preferred Qualifications Experience in charter school or multi-site environments Bilingual (Spanish) a plus Familiarity with AAC systems and ABA/autism service coordination #J-18808-Ljbffr ABA Therapy Partners
