Diesel Technician

DATTCO currently has a full-time Diesel Technician opening at our Coach and Tour Fleet Maintenance location in Cranston, RI. DATTCO is a third generation, family-owned transportation company. Learn more about us at What We Offer: Compensation of $25.00-40.00/hour Room for advancement - we promote from within Medical & dental insurance Life insurance 401k plan with company match Flexible spending account Paid time off Certification reimbursement Uniform & boot program Paid training Overtime Bonus program for earning ASE certifications Paid training to earn a CDL Employee referral bonuses Primary Responsibilities: Performs scheduled preventive maintenance and service inspections on a variety of vehicles Performs diagnostic and repair work on all types of vehicles Completes required paperwork with regards to repair orders and parts usage Makes road calls Owns and maintains the proper hand tools to perform job functions Follow orders of the shop foreman or other supervisor Position Requirements: High school diploma, trade school or equivalent Training or experience in the field of automotive, truck or bus repair Driver's license Hold, or be eligible to, hold a CDL license Hold, or be willing to work toward, ASE certifications Adequate English verbal and written communication skills Physical strength and conditioning to perform all required tasks Questions?
