Patient ratios vary from 1:2 to 1:4. The team consists of skilled nurses, patient support technicians, and monitor technicians. All team members are responsible for providing quality, patient-centered care to all levels of patient acuity. This department presents great challenges and demands flexibility. Staff will develop a wide range of skills across diverse patient care scenarios. Interdisciplinary support includes IV Teams, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, and Pharmacy. Daily census averages around 11 patients.
