Equipment Maintenance Technician - 12 HR Nights United States, Arizona, Phoenix Apr 15, 2026 Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Equipment Maintenance Technician to perform electrical and mechanical repairs of our injection molding, printing, and automation industrial machines and equipment at our plant in Tolleson, AZ, to ensure that our production equipment performs as required. This Equipment Maintenance Technician prides themselves in their safety mindset, attention to detail, troubleshooting capabilities and perfect attendance as they provide technical support to other technical roles as part of this team. Job Details Job Type: Full‑time 12‑hour Night Shift: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM Alternating every two weeks, Works every other weekend 2, 2, 3, 2 schedules Pay Range: $28.00 to $38.00/h + $2.00/h Shift Differential Bi‑Annual Bonus Compensation Responsibilities Installs, alters, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs electrical and mechanical molding equipment, dry off‑set printing equipment, pneumatic, hydraulic and PLC systems. Installs and troubleshoots mechanical or electrical support equipment (conveyors, box sealing machines, grinding equipment, stackers, etc.). Preventive maintenance on Husky and BNB injection molding equipment. Preventive maintenance for support equipment. Maintain PM and work‑order files in database. Follow all good manufacturing practices (GMPs) and HACCP practices. Any other duties as assigned by supervisor or department manager. Know the quality policy, food safety policy and apply it to working practices. Ability to operate overhead cranes. Follow all Lock‑Out Tag‑out procedures. Work in a team environment and assist others as needed. Qualifications Effective written and oral communication skills. Mechanically and electrically oriented. Safety and quality conscience at all times. 3‑5 years industrial equipment maintenance experience preferred. Ability to work under limited supervision. Additional training may be required to retain position. Familiar with operation of PLCs, drives, and robots. Basic equipment maintenance tools. Responsible, self‑motivated and team‑oriented; able to make decisions with minimal supervision. Willingness to take a hands‑on approach during process interruptions. Prior experience on Husky injection molding machines preferred. Education and/or Experience Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school; and minimum three‑year related experience and/or training or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers and decimals. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form, and to deal with problems involving several variables. Physical Demands Employee regularly stands, walks, uses hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reaches with hands and arms; talks and listens. Frequently required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, taste or smell. Frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. Vision: close, distance, peripheral, adjust focus. Work Environment Employee exposed to moving mechanical parts, extreme heat, electrical shock, wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions.
