Job Description TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Scope of Work Specialty: ED – Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 06/29/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 36 Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities As an ER Travel Nurse, you will work with a diverse team to evaluate, triage, and implement care according to procedures and physician instructions. Responsibilities include: Perform basic bedside care. Clean and bandage wounds. Provide IV therapy. Maintain supplies and medical equipment. Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies. Document medical history and check for allergies. Obtain patient vital signs and monitor emotional and physical well‑being. Assist with minor medical operations and advise patients and families on illnesses or injuries. Plan long‑term care needs. Physical requirements: stand and walk for long periods; lift up to 20 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds when necessary; maintain fatigue resilience in a fast‑paced environment. Qualifications Required: 1–2 years recent acute care experience; ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH certifications; additional certifications may be required before assignment.
