Our employee-owners collaborate across specialties, combining creativity, precision, and deep expertise to solve the most complex challenges facing our clients and communities.In the role of Federal Project Manager, we'll count on you to:Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium single – discipline projects or large, routine projects. Role will also directly support Senior Project Management team on large scale projects.Actively participates in project pursuits and developing project scopeEstablish client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetingsParticipate in reviews with various governing agencies for complianceConduct work sessions for design development and contract document in conjunction with multidisciplinary staffDevelop, maintain, and update engineering schedules and spending plans; track progress, identify variances, and implement corrective actions to check work is completed within approved schedule and cost parameters.Facilitates/participates in project reviews in collaboration with Accounting and technical team management.Provide project management services as a staff-augmented resource, operating as part of the client's day-to-day project team.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or ArchitectureProfessional Engineering (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) (AIA) licensePMP CertificationRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in related field7 years related experienceA minimum of 2 years project management experienceMust have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We Believe HDR is our company.
