MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse

Job Description

The MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care through the application of the Nursing Process in alignment with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policies. The nurse will exercise critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe delivery of care. This role includes supervising and guiding assigned personnel in delivering patient care, while maintaining clinical competencies through ongoing education.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and effective judgment in patient care management.
• Provide guidance and supervision to nursing staff and other personnel.
• Maintain clinical competencies and participate in continuing education opportunities.
• Delegate patient care priorities according to staff education and experience.
• Ensure compliance with state nurse practice acts and hospital policies.

Location

This position is located in Arizona.

Schedule

This is a Night Shift position, scheduled from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working three 12-hour shifts per week, with a requirement to work 6 weekend shifts every 6 weeks.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Arizona Registered Nurse license.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a telemetry setting.
• Experience with Cerner electronic medical records (EMR) is required.
