WHY JOIN US Competitive compensation and comprehensive total rewards True work‑life balance in an outpatient setting—no on‑call shifts or overnights Consistent RP standards with local leadership and support Opportunities for modality cross‑training and professional growth A fun, team‑first culture at ARA—collaborative, supportive, and grounded in safety and trust Radiology Partners has been a Certified Great Place to Work™ for five consecutive years, reflecting the experiences of team members across our practices nationwide POSITION SUMMARY Perform and maintain monthly quality control on ultrasound system as required by credentialing organizations Perform ultrasound procedures as prescribed by a physician; follow established techniques and methods in operating equipment and processing images; ensure technical quality of images and exercise judgment in processing assigned workload Assist the radiologist in performing image‑guided diagnostic and invasive procedures (e.g., paracentesis, thoracentesis, and hysterosonograms) Prepare patients for ultrasound procedures by escorting them to dressing and ultrasound rooms, providing instructions, and positioning patients for the proper view of the affected area; select transducer and make equipment adjustments according to test specifications; enforce safety procedures and universal precautions Assess the patient’s prior exams/reports, including loading or digitizing outside studies when available; review the referral form for each procedure and ensure accuracy; communicate referral to the radiologist; for certain procedures, may administer medication as prescribed by a physician DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Knowledge of ultrasound technology principles and procedures, normally acquired through completion of an ultrasound technology training program Knowledge and work experience necessary to independently conduct routine and specialized radiologic tests, assist physicians with special techniques or procedures, and become familiar with physician and department work methods and facility policies and procedures Analytical skills necessary to conduct routine ultrasound tests and review results for accuracy and quality, verify patient information, complete material for the medical record, and monitor supply levels Current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) recognized by the American Heart Association Current registry by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) (or must be registry‑eligible and obtain registry within one year of employment in technologist position) FOR MORE INFORMATION Learn more about this opportunity here.
