Litigation Strategist (973-SLS)

Our client, Latin America’s first AI unicorn, backed by Founders Fund and Sequoia, is building software that defends businesses against high volumes of individual litigation, gathering evidence, detecting fraud, supporting strategy development, and helping to generate responses, thereby reducing litigation costs. This role supports the company’s U.S. presence by hiring its first U.S. attorney as a Litigation Strategist. Role Overview As a Litigation Strategist, you will bring U.S. litigation expertise into the core of the product work. You will work with in‑house lawyers to unlock the full potential of the platform while ensuring the technology reflects real‑world litigation practices. Responsibilities Work directly with clients’ in‑house lawyers to understand pain points and opportunities across high‑volume litigation, helping to adapt the company’s approach to U.S. law. Analyze litigation data trends, outcomes, judicial behavior, and claim patterns to optimize product design. Lead the design and development of workflow templates, frameworks, and other legal content embedded in the platform for use within client workflows by in‑house legal teams and outside attorneys. Partner closely with product, engineering, and leadership teams. Qualifications Experience defending large volumes of similar individual cases in areas such as consumer, financial services, insurance defense, product liability, pharma, mass‑tort defense, or consumer and mass arbitration (AAA). Excellent drafting and writing, sharp analytical and pattern‑recognition instincts, and comfort working with data. The executive presence to be credible with clients, and an interest in partnering closely with product teams (the company will help the right person grow into that work). Approximately four to six years of litigation experience, strong academic and law‑firm credentials, a J.D., and active U.S. bar membership (New York preferred). Compensation & Benefits Compensation will be competitive and tailored to the individual, with a base of $225,000 to $300,000, plus a meaningful equity stake; total compensation will depend on experience and qualifications.
