Business Manager

Business Manager | Valley Christian School | Missoula, Montana Full-Time | Reports to Head of School Valley Christian School is seeking a Business Manager to oversee the financial and business operations of our Christ-centered K–12 school. We are looking for a highly organized, trustworthy, and financially knowledgeable individual who views excellent stewardship and administrative service as part of the ministry of Christian education. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations. Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with annual financial reporting. Manage tuition billing, collections, and student financial accounts. Assist with student financial aid and tuition assistance administration. Maintain accurate financial records and internal controls. Coordinate with the school's CPA, financial institutions, and vendors. Provide financial information to the Head of School and Board of Directors. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee, student, family, and school financial information. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field preferred. Experience with QuickBooks preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 5 year’s experience in accounting, finance, or business administration preferred. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Excellent organizational and reporting skills. High degree of accuracy, integrity, discretion, and confidentiality. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with school leadership. School, nonprofit, church, or ministry experience is a plus. Christian Commitment Valley Christian School is a Christ-centered educational ministry.
