Respiratory Therapist

The Respiratory Therapist position involves delivering treatment and diagnostic patient care services to both critical and non-critical patients. The role serves all age groups and patient populations using evidence-based techniques related to the cardiopulmonary system.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care and therapies to patients based on their individualized needs.
• Administer diagnostic tests and treatments related to the cardiopulmonary system.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Document patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes according to facility protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current registration by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC-RRT) required.
• Current state of Oregon Respiratory Care License required.
• Healthcare Provider BLS required.
• Two (2) years of clinical experience in Respiratory Care preferred.
• ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications are required for PCH Respiratory Therapy.

Schedule

Varies, with occasional weekends required.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
