Senior Java Developer

To support a dynamic agile team, the full-time Senior Java Developer will design and implement scalable multi-threaded solutions, optimize performance, and refactor legacy code while working remotely. Key responsibilities Collaborate with the product owner to define technical and experience design for new features in the DemandCenter product Code, test, and optimize designs across systems and micro-services, ensuring high performance and supportability Manage Java services on the AWS framework and troubleshoot product issues in collaboration with customer support Required qualifications 8+ years of experience in software engineering focused on building highly scalable systems Advanced knowledge of Java development with 8+ years of experience using Spring and Spring Boot frameworks Extensive experience with AWS framework and running Java services on AWS Solid understanding of APIs using standards like REST, JSON, or XML Experience with both SQL and NoSQL (Cassandra) database design and optimization
