Registered Nurse Pacu
Banner Fort Collins Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse PACU to join our dynamic Surgical Services team. In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering safe, high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative experience. You will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the broader surgical team to ensure optimal outcomes for every patient.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient assessments before, during, and after surgical procedures
Serve as the patient advocate throughout the perioperative process
Maintain accurate documentation of surgical procedures and patient care activities
Communicate effectively with the surgical team, patients, and families
Adhere to all infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
Float to the Loveland Campus OR as operationally needed
Required Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Colorado (or compact state eligibility)
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required or must obtain within a defined timeframe
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment
Preferred Qualifications
Operating Room experience strongly preferred
CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) certification preferred
Experience with a variety of surgical specialtie
