As a Senior Account Executive, Education Programs you will be responsible for managing an assigned portfolio of academic and healthcare education program accounts, serving as the primary relationship owner to drive customer satisfaction, retention, renewal, adoption, and growth. You will partner with academic leaders, faculty, administrators, and internal stakeholders to support successful implementation, workflow integration, training, and ongoing optimization of MCG solutions across programs, departments, campuses, and affiliated institutions. Working independently, the Senior Account Executive applies consultative expertise to develop strategic account plans, identify opportunities to expand solution adoption, proactively mitigate retention risks, and deliver measurable customer value. This role also serves as a mentor to less experienced account team members and leverages approved AI-enabled tools to improve customer engagement, account planning, and operational effectiveness. You will: Own an assigned portfolio of Education Program accounts, serving as the primary relationship manager for executive sponsors, academic leaders, faculty, operational stakeholders, and end users. Develop trusted advisor relationships by providing consultative guidance on MCG products, services, workflows, and evidence-based best practices. Manage renewals, relicensing activities, and customer agreements to support retention, continuity, and long-term customer success. Develop and execute strategic account plans that expand licensed MCG solutions across programs, departments, campuses, and affiliated institutions. Conduct regular customer business reviews, account planning sessions, and health assessments aligned with account segmentation and service expectations. Monitor customer engagement, utilization trends, and adoption metrics to identify opportunities, mitigate retention risks, and improve customer outcomes. Coordinate onboarding, implementation support, provisioning activities, training plans, and train-the-trainer programs to ensure successful customer adoption. Assess educational workflows and recommend approaches that optimize integration and effective use of MCG solutions. Deliver product education and training that supports curriculum integration, evidence-based practice, and learner preparedness. Support customer success across nursing, medical, residency, physician assistant, case management, and other healthcare education environments. Partner with Sales, Product, Technical Support, Finance, Contracts, Operations, and other internal teams to resolve customer issues, support account planning, and improve service delivery. Maintain accurate account documentation, customer activity, renewal records, meeting notes, and opportunity management within Salesforce and related CRM systems. Identify root causes of customer challenges and coordinate cross-functional solutions that improve long-term customer success. Represent MCG at customer meetings, conferences, webinars, trade shows, and other client-facing educational events as assigned. Provide mentoring and functional guidance to Account Managers and Account Executives as assigned while operating effectively in a remote environment. Use approved AI-enabled tools to improve account planning, customer engagement, operational efficiency, and customer success outcomes. What We’re Looking For: Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred. At least 5 years of experience in account management, customer success, healthcare sales support, education program support, or related client-facing roles. Experience managing complex customer relationships, renewals, relicensing activities, contracts, or recurring revenue accounts. Demonstrated consultative relationship management, presentation, facilitation, and strategic account planning skills. Ability to analyze account activity, utilization trends, operational metrics, and customer data to support business decisions and customer success. Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, time management, prioritization, and follow-through skills. Experience using Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms. Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Contracts, Product, Technical Support, Implementation, and Operations teams. Other Qualifications: Experience supporting healthcare, healthcare technology, SaaS, higher education, academic health systems, or healthcare education organizations preferred. Strong customer relationship management and business acumen with a demonstrated customer retention mindset. Ability to identify root causes, resolve complex customer concerns, and proactively manage account health. Experience supporting workflow integration and product adoption within educational environments preferred. Comfortable engaging faculty, administrators, executive leaders, and diverse customer stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a remote environment. Ability to travel up to 30% overnight for customer meetings, conferences, trade shows, customer events, and internal meetings. Licensure/Certifications/Registrations/Permits: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
