Business Tax Accountant (LTP, LTC, EA or CPA)

Business Tax Accountant (LTP, LTC or CPA) Ready to prepare/review great tax returns and help build the future of a growing CPA firm? We're looking for an experienced Licensed Tax Preparer (LTP), Licensed Tax Consultant (LTC), or CPA to join our team in Newberg, Oregon. Our practice focuses on closely held businesses and the people who own them, so you'll prepare and review business returns and the individual returns of the business owners. We believe those returns should be viewed together—not in separate silos. This isn't just another tax preparation job. We're looking for someone who enjoys solving tax issues, building relationships with clients, mentoring staff, and helping improve our processes with new technology. What You'll Do Prepare and review S corporation, partnership, LLC, and corporate tax returns. Prepare and review the individual tax returns for business owners. Work directly with clients to answer questions and provide proactive tax planning. Review bookkeeping records and help clients improve their accounting processes. Train and mentor newer staff members. Assist with workflow improvements and firm processes. Help implement technology and other tools that make our team more efficient and improve the client experience. What We're Looking For Oregon LTP, LTC, or CPA license (or ability to obtain one). Experience preparing and reviewing business tax returns. Strong understanding of pass-through entity taxation. Comfortable reviewing accounting records and identifying issues before they become tax problems. Excellent attention to detail. Someone who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team. Strong communication skills with both clients and coworkers. A willingness to embrace change and help us continue modernizing our firm.
