Description:Job Summary
The Dishwasher position is responsible for the proper handling, cleaning and sanitation of dishware, glass wear and other equipment and utensils in a timely manner. To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Attendance, punctuality and dependability; adaptability; initiative, planning/organizing ; teamwork, and, safety and security.
Essential Job Functions- Scrapes food from dishes and washes them by hand or places them on the conveyor to dishwasher
- Segregates and removes food waste and liquids
- Steam cleans and hoses out garbage cans
- Preps food as needed
- Keeps work area clean and organized
- Complies with all Highlands policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instruction
- Ability to interface with diverse staff with positivity
- Ability to stand for extended period of time
- High school diploma or GED
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification
- Successfully pass drug screen
I have read, understand and am able to able to perform the essential function of this position with or without accommodation
