Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse or powered industrial truck training is beneficial.

Job Duties

• Place appropriate racks at the end of work stations and move full racks to WIP.
• Scan and label racks for WIP tracking.
• Move material and ensure silos at each machine are consistently stocked.
• Move and empty scrap racks as needed.
• Bring packaging and pallets to small parts machines, including 3000-ton and 1000-ton equipment.
• Complete location transfers in SAP using a scanner.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including POSITIVE, POMs, and the Focused Improvement Roadmap.

Experience Requirements

• Experience operating reach trucks or similar powered industrial equipment.
• Ability to safely move, stack, retrieve, and organize palletized inventory.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and material handling practices.
• Ability to accurately identify products, inventory locations, and shipping documentation.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety and inventory accuracy.
• 2 years Forklift and Reach Truck experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience operating reach trucks in distribution centers or warehouse environments is preferred.
• Forklift certification or experience operating additional powered industrial equipment is beneficial.
• Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, or inventory software is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate safe operating practices, dependability, and strong teamwork are well positioned for success as a Reach Truck Operator.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and climb on and off powered industrial equipment throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, move, or reposition materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required.
• Ability to safely work in warehouse environments with elevated storage racks and moving equipment.
• Ability to maintain awareness of surroundings while operating powered industrial vehicles.
• Lift up to lbs and stand for full shift.
